I Choose Love!
Again, we face the crossroads of fear. What are our choices when fear seems to be the only option? What do we do when many are suffering? And, equally important, how can we help?
In the midst of absolute chaos and carnage, despite the unsettledness and the unknown, we must choose love. Love is the only vehicle that allows us to step outside ourselves and within ourselves, all at the same time. It harbors no restrictions and never discriminates. And, it allows us to stretch, deeply, into the compassionate space that embodies us. It is a powerful tool to bring energy to oneself and to others in need, and it is necessary to hold the sacred space for thoughtful contemplation.
There are no explanations that I can offer you, right now, about why an eight year old boy must pass on or why many must suffer. In time, we will discuss with great awareness, that in life things happen that cannot be fully understood no matter how spiritually connected we feel, especially when we grieve. Today, tomorrow and days beyond now, we will embark beyond our grief and the human spirit will breathe again. We will remember love.
In times of tragedy, like this recent event in Boston, we wonder what we can do to be of service to those in need. Praying, holding positive energy within yourself and for those affected by this tragic event, as well as creating a healing space for all that suffer, must be our priority. We are here to support each other. One human being reaching his or her heart to one in need allows the heart to grow and expand. Say a prayer, talk to a friend, be thoughtful, be reverent, and be one. Share your fears, so they do not house hardened energy within. Send love to those faces of those who need. Hold hands and just stand in your humanity.
I stand before you, with you and hold you as we walk through the entrance of grief and fear. We have the power to ignite a wave of compassionate loving energy and we, equally, have the power to stand together, fearless and faithful, strongly within the embrace of God’s light.
I know that you are extraordinary and your ability to step beyond your own fear and into the sacred space of love will be the light that shines for one, and then for all. Love is our only option.
With Loving Kindness,
