The one thing I’ve learned since that fateful day on 9-11 is that the power of the human spirit must be revered and celebrated. Each and every one of us has the power to push through the challenges. We must preservere towards the restoration of human kindness. The loss of life on that day caused us all to stop and to become stewards of hope. Some offered support while others prayed. Some lent their strength to lift stones and others brought food to feed the rescue workers. What you offered on that day was significant. How you stood strong amongst the broken was to be applauded. Today, we must remain bound by the same determination that filled our hearts days after the tragedy. It is clear to me that when one is served, we all benefit. When one is loved, we are all loved. Join me daily as we remember, honor and celebrate the human spirit.
In the movie “Evan Almighty” God says to Evan “when someone prays for courage, I give them an opportunity to be courageous.” Let be courageous today! Gather your family. Summon your friends. Bring your candles, your inner light, more importantly, bring your love. Light that shines through the darkest day causes a ripple effect of love. With Loving Kindness, Roland
